A local law firm who have been customers of ours for a good few years now regularly host a lunch in the boardroom at their offices in Uckfield for the directors or for visiting colleagues.
Wanting something a bit more formal, but without the hassle of going out to a restaurant they call on us to supply a sit down lunch, fully served, thus allowing them to still have the privacy and convenience of staying on site.
On their menu this time was a fairly simple but deliciously warming meal of chicken breast filled with caramelised onion and thyme stuffing, served with boulangere potatoes, savoy cabbage and roasted parsnips – and wild mushroom stroganoff with aromatic rice for the vegetarians.
Stealing the show was our sticky toffee pudding with a warm toffee sauce.
Pretty good lunch for a Wednesday in February I’d say!
