Caterers for Pekes Manor, Chiddingly

Another unique East Sussex wedding venue. We are really proud to be on the list of recommended caterers for Pekes Manor Chiddingly.

Caterers for Pekes Manor, ChiddinglyPekes is an early Tudor tile-hung manor house (c.1470), garden and park with a self-contained Edwardian Wing and 4 separate houses surrounding it at a little distance; it has been in the same family since 1908. The manor house retains many of its original features including its 16th century kitchen, its Tudor beams and ornate Elizabethan fireplace etc, and though everything has been modernised over the years, it has kept it’s old charm and welcome. Surrounding it are lawns and gardens (including an old walled garden), and around it lie miles of almost unchanged East Sussex countryside of small farms and lovely old woods.

For the whole bridal party there is self catering accommodation for up to 63 people, which is really unusual in venues that are not specific hotels. Overall, a lovely East Sussex wedding choice. There are lots of on-site facilities, including a indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and saunas, a hard surface tennis court and the walled garden.

The estate is up a long private drive well away from the road. It is very quiet and in the middle of beautiful farming land and countryside, so ideal for weddings, corporate events as well as bespoke private dining.
