Charlotte & Roger’s October Wedding

On Saturday 12th October Charlotte and Roger tied the knot at Gildredge Manor in Eastbourne.

Our good friend Kate of Kate and Kate Celebrants conducted the ceremony at 2pm in the Garden Room at the manor.

After the ceremony guests were greeted with drinks. Followed by a canape service including mini cheeseburgers, thai crab & chilli toasts, tomato & parmesan arancini and Yorkshire pudding with rare beef & wasabi mayo.

Greek Sharing Board

Gildredge Manor is the perfect backdrop for photos and a has a beautiful enclosed garden. The inside is equally as beautiful, with each room decorated differently. After mingling with drinks and canapes, the wedding party took their places in the dining room upstairs. A light and airy room overlooking the gardens.

The Menu Choices

Charlotte and Roger mixed and matched their menus, which is fine by us. They opted for a trio of salmon starter, or a roasted Mediterranean vegetable bruschetta followed by a sharing board main and a trio of desserts to finish.

They selected our Greek sharing board from our Sharing Board Menu. This consisted of lamb kofta skewers, chicken kebabs, homemade hummus and fresh pitta bread, tomato, basil & mozzarella skewers, homemade calamari, Kalamata olives, lemon & thyme marinated feta. With Persian rice salad, green salad and baskets of homemade bread.

The trio of mini desserts were all time favourites strawberry pavlova, chocolate brownie and banoffee pie.

A band provided the entertainment. Then  Charlotte and Roger opted for a simple finger buffet to keep people going in the evening and for their additional guests, as well as wedding cake.

A real foodie day for Charlotte and Roger; we loved their menu choices.
