Hen and Stag Do’s are really getting a bit more groovy it has to be said. So many groups are choosing to hire fabulous properties and making a weekend of it, rather than a night out on the town dressed up as schoolgirls…
We’ve been to some amazing properties all over the Sussex countryside – some with indoor pools and saunas, and home gyms to work off some calories before you put them all back on again. We’ve also been to many in central Brighton where you have the city on the doorstep if you choose to have one night out on the tiles, and have the other night in being pampered.
Having us arrive for an evening of great food (you can supply your own wine) is a real treat, and nobody has to cook. The service is attentive but informal and the evening can go at your pace.
Laura and her friends did exactly that. They were a large group so hiring a property made perfect sense so that they could all be together and take it easy in a fabulous country setting. But they also wanted fine food for their special occasion, and going out to a restaurant with such a large party would not have been as personal or relaxed.
There were several dietary requirements to take into consideration but these could all be dealt with in advance when they chose their dishes, and we will always advise as to how dishes can be adapted. The girls chose from our Traditional Standard Menu as their numbers were high. For smaller, more intimate groups we offer our Traditional Premium Menu or our Private Dining Menu. Its always nice to kick things off in style with some bubbles and canapé.
