Elaine got in touch about having a joint party at her home in Hove – one outside for her son’s 18th birthday – and one inside for the adults watching the Rugby World Cup.
Pumpkin and Rocket Salad
They decided on a BBQ so that there was enough choice for everyone to be well-catered for regardless of tastes and ages. The menu included a selection of meat, chicken and fish, salads and desserts – something for even the pickiest of eaters!
The mouth-watering menu consisted of a selection of Local Butcher’s Sausages (Old English, Cumberland and Pork & Leek), American Style Beef Burgers Served in Seeded Buns with Cheese and Relish, Jamaican Jerk Chicken & Salmon & Herb Parcels for the main items.
These were served with New Potato Salad, Mixed Five Bean Salad with a Spring Onion, Garlic & Chilli Dressing, Homemade Pink Coleslaw, Sliced Tomato and Red Onion Salad Served with a Balsamic Dressing, Roasted Butternut Squash and Rocket Salad Dressed with Olive Oil and Toasted Seeds & a selection of home-made Breads.
Brownies & Strawberries
For those with room for something sweet there was Exotic Fresh Fruit Salad & our amazing Chocolate Brownies to dig into!
Another fun-packed evening was had by all – and it was a really enjoyable one for us too. Nice people, great food – simple!
BBQ’s really do hit the spot for most people for any occasion. The only thing we can’t guarantee is the weather but we will guarantee happy tummies!
