50th Birthday Celebration – Saturday 11th March 2017

Back at Gildredge Manor again, but this time for a 50th Birthday celebration.

The guests arrived at 6:45pm and started off with drinks and canapé in the beautiful reception rooms at Gildredge Manor. They chose favourites such as Chicken Satay Skewers, Filo Tarts filled with Basil Pesto, Cream Cheese & Sundried Tomato, Yorkshire Pudding with rare roast Beef and Wasabi Mayo and Sundried Tomato and Parmesan Ristotto Balls.

They then headed up to the Long Gallery upstairs for a two course meal consisting of Slow roasted shoulder of Lamb served on Boulangere potatoes with Mediterranean Vegetables in a light Tomato and Rosemary Jus, and Filo Basket with Butternut Squash & Chick Pea Curry with aromatic Rice for the vegetarians.

The dessert was  Chocolate Brownies and Zesty Lemon Pots – both of which are fabulous and always result in clean plates.

Teresa and her husband really wanted to push the boat out and celebrate in style, with their 80 of their family, friends and colleagues – (lots of doctors in the house should anyone of needed medical attention – thankfully nobody did!)

After tea and coffee downstairs the evening geared up for a band and more mingling in the bar area.

The guests were really complimentary about the food which was fantastic to hear, and they were certainly a discerning lot.

For any kind of celebration see our Price List for ideas and costs.
