And Breathe…

With the start of September heralding dewy mornings, a cooler sun and those nights drawing in, one of the biggest changes is that it is the end of the summer holidays and the kids are back to school!

Tea and cake!

So, now you can breathe again…gone are all those day trips out…to the beach the adventure parks, the shopping and the endless washing! Now it is all that big rush first thing in the morning and then the day will be a little different. Obviously, we all love the summer holidays and that really does go without saying, but it is always good to get back into a routine of sorts. And then it can give you a bit more time for you.

So what better way to celebrate the start of a new term, than by hosting a glorious afternoon tea for you and your friends?

We can supply you with a wonderful selection of handcut sandwiches, dependent on dietary requirements. And then a whole batch of homemade scones, with choices of jam and lots of fresh cream. Then there are the cakes…and who doesn’t love a piece of cake with a lovely cup of tea. Here you can relax, unwind, spend time with your friends or family and enjoy being waited upon, but in your own home!

So whether it is just for a get together as a celebration for the start of term, perhaps the start of a hen party, a wedding anniversary or a birthday tea – a homemade afternoon tea always hits the spot. And the best bit will be that you haven’t had to make it yourself! Win win, all round!

An afternoon tea is always a great idea for club an society afternoons…a golf day, a bowls tea, a bridge afternoon – always occasions when you don’t necessarily have time to cater for it yourself, but want to serve everybody a really nice selection of afternoon dishes.

Please get in touch if this is something you would like to do. Just send us a quick email or fill in the contact form and let us know the details for your tea. We can do as much or as little as you want. We can just drop off the food and leave it with you to serve, or stay around from start to finish, clearing at the end and taking away all the dirty crockery and cutlery. Whichever you would prefer.

Your friends and family will love it…you will love it…just don’t eat lunch beforehand!
