Back at Birling Manor again and this time the couple had a Hog Roast slowly cooking away by the entrance to the building.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t too great, so it was very cosy in the hallway for welcome drinks but after the smoked salmon blinis and other canapé the guests went through into the main room, that was stunningly decorated with white and cream offset by large silver candelabras in the centre of the tables.
The hog roast meat was brought to the tables on platters along with Warm New Potatoes, Greek Salad & Roasted Butternut Squash & Rocket Salad with Toasted Seeds.
Luckily the weather perked up a bit later on in the evening, and after a firework display by the pool, Chef Ben and I cooked up some bacon baps for the guests, which went down a storm!
Then it was time for the band to start up again and everyone to go back inside and hit the dance floor. By this time the bar was set up in the adjoining room and it was heaving in there too. It’s always great to see everyone really enjoying themselves.
We wish Jules and Guy all the very best for their future!
