Weddings are, for obvious reasons, very sociable. People like to mingle and friends like to chat. The bride and groom along with their families can also catch up with others, who they may not have time to speak with, especially at a large wedding! Therefore, we get asked a lot about canapé catering, either instead of a starter or as well as, at many weddings we cater for.
Filo tarts with chicken liver parfait & onion marmalade
And we can create as many different canapés as you like. They can be traditional and classic, such as crispy filo tarts or chicken satay skewers. Or trendy and current, such as a chilled gazpacho shot or mini toad in the holes. This can also be a really economical way of providing a starter for your guests and it means you don’t have to sit down straight away. The costs for our standard canapé catering are as follows:
4 canapes per person – £5.00+ VAT (£6.00)
6 canapes per person – £6.50+ VAT (£7.80)
8 canapes per person – £8.00+ VAT (£9.60)

We really do have some lovely little “mini bites” to really get your reception or party going, where you will be able to chat, have a drink or two and really get to talk with everyone at the start of your reception, ensuring no one feels left out and everyone gets a photo with the bride and groom! This is such an important start to the wedding celebrations and means all can be involved and gush over how gorgeous you both look and how fantastic the service was! And obviously eating a few wonderfully tasty canapés will also help to stave off the hunger whilst photographs are being taken, before the main meal is offered.

Canapé catering isn’t just for weddings. They are also really popular at parties and special events.
