After working every weekend since weekends were invented it was high time we took a break from the weddings, parties, hog roasts, bbq’s, buffets, corporate lunches, funerals, private dining and hen do’s! 
Probably tried to be a bit too ambitious taking our new VW Camper too far, but after a stint on the hard shoulder in the torrential rain the nice man came out and fixed it and we went on our merry way.
After a very wet first night & being the only people mad enough to be camping (thankfully in the garden of a nice pub with an excellent restaurant) the next day was the complete opposite. It was a blinder of a day and we headed back towards home spending a night at another lovely pub, this time with an exceptional restaurant – The Wisborough at Billingshurst.
After a few nights of lovely food and amazing wine and some much-needed family time we felt refreshed and all set to get straight back to it….ready for round two of the summer functions.
And we didn’t break down on the way home…which was a bonus!
