Back at Gildredge Manor again…this time for Michaela and David’s big day.
It doesn’t matter what time of year it is or what the weather is like, Gildredge Manor is a beautiful setting for a wedding, and with the run of the place there is plenty of room for everyone.
That being said, Michaela and David’s wedding was a very small one – just close family and friends, but they did it in style – dressing in black tie and kicking off with a glass of fizz and canapé of Goats Cheese & Olive Toasts, Cherry Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Kebabs, Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Blinis & King Prawn & Chorizo Skewers.
Once seated in the beautiful Garden Room the guests enjoyed Fan of Melon with Exotic Fruit & Red Fruit Coulis, Smoked Mackerel Pate with Crusty Bread & Farmhouse Pate with Onion Relish & Toasted Bread followed by Bacon wrapped Chicken Breast stuffed with Cream Cheese, Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding & Roasted Cod Loin served with a Tomato & Chorizo Ragout.
For dessert the guests had Zesty Lemon Pots, Strawberry & Cream Pavlova & Fresh Cream Chocolate Gateaux, followed by Coffee & Tea.
Later on after the additional guests arriving and some entertainment there was another round of canapé to be had, this time consisting of Chicken Satay Skewers, Thai Crab & Chilli Toasts, Pastrami & Wholegrain Mustard on Rye Bread and Sun-dried Tomato & Parmesan Risotto Balls. A nice alternative to the usual evening food choices.
A lovely relaxed day with a real touch of class, and most importantly Michaela and David were absolutely thrilled with it all – they were a pleasure to cater for and we thank them very much for their lovely testimonial and wish them all the best for their future together.
