Steve has a beautiful home in Meads in Eastbourne and what better way to treat his wife on her birthday than to throw dinner party – catered for by us so that nobody needs to lift a finger or clear up afterwards!
Chicken Satay
The evening kicked off with drinks and canapé served by our waitress, and after a few sneaky visits into the kitchen by some of the guests to check on the Rugby World Cup they took their seats in the dining room for their meal to be served.
With glasses replenished the 16 guests enjoyed Goats Cheese and Caramelised Red Onion Tart for starters, followed by Oven Roasted Chicken on a Tomato and Chorizo Ragout, served with decadent Dauphinoise Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables.
For dessert the now very well-oiled guests tucked into individual Summer Berry Pavlovas followed by Cheese and Coffee.

This was a great atmosphere to be part of – the 16 guests making enough noise for double that amount and really enjoying themselves! It’s always a nice sound from the kitchen when you can hear so much hilarity going on.
