“ On the 5th of February 2020 I was tasked by my regional manager to organise the Sainsbury’s Love Awards Ceremony for our region. The aim was to make the event really special for 120 of our most deserving colleagues across 44 stores and as the leader of the organizing committee I was determined to ditch the corporate feel and instead put together a really special afternoon with lots of celebration, great entertainment and most of all amazing food.
This is where Jo and her team played a fundamental part in making the whole thing a great success. From the very first meeting at Green Fig HQ to the moment we said goodbye on the day of the event, working with Jo and her team was an absolute delight.
So professional, knowledgeable, understanding, patient, accommodating, always able to anticipate our needs and most of all always calm and in control even during my most Bridezilla-like moments on the day!
Maybe even more importantly the food was absolutely outstanding, amazing quality, variety and taste and really stunning presentation. All food allergies and intolerances were catered for without compromising on flavour.
The feedback from my colleagues, my boss and my fellow store managers was incredibly positive. As I was saying goodbye to my colleagues I was so pleased to see so many of them smuggling out doggy bags full of cakes and sweet treats!
So a really heartfelt thank you to Jo and her team for all your support, professionalism, kindness and great food , you made such a difference to us at Sainsbury’s and I would love to work together again in the future. X “
