Vegetarian and Vegan food is now expected in nearly every event we cater, including our daily corporate buffets. The growing demand for veggie and vegan food has meant that we’ve had to get on board and create tasty options to ensure that everyone is adequately catered for. Many are choosing a plant-based option these days for health or ethical reasons, but sometimes even true carnivores will select a veggie or vegan option just because it is so good.

For example, our roasted Mediterranean vegetable lasagne is a real winner – roasted aubergine, courgette, peppers and mushrooms with a béchamel sauce, topped with strong cheddar and vegetarian parmesan-like cheese gran padano. A firm favourite for both vegetarians and vegans is our filo pastry basket filled with a wild mushroom and spinach ragout, served with a root vegetable mash.

Vegetarians are usually well catered for when it comes to our canapé catering, as many of our ranges are suitable, such as the colourful tomato, basil and mozzarella mini kebabs, mushroom and gruyere arancini and sundried tomato and cream cheese blinis. A vegan treat is our carrot and cashew pate with a hint of star anise, on homemade oatcakes.

Our finger buffets include many vegetarian and vegan options, and you can make your own menu using our finger buffet list. If the group is mixed don’t worry we can offer a veggie or vegan alternative alongside the meaty option.

For weddings we have veggie and vegan options on our traditional menus, and our hot fork sharing menu caters really well for both, with hearty dishes such as stews, curries and casseroles being ideal. One of our sharing boards from our sharing board menu is exclusively vegan, and there are several veggie and vegan choices on our summer cold fork menu and our picnic hamper menus.

We can also take care of any other specific dietaries such as gluten-free, dairy-free, or those on restrictive diets.
