Caterers at Montague Farm

Wow! What a fantastic venue Montague Farm is! It ticks all the boxes for both guests and a suppliers. It’s been cleverly thought out to provide everything you could possibly need, without compromising the rustic charm and character of this working farm. The views are spectacular and there is bags of space, both inside and out.

With different areas appointed for different parts of the day, everything can flow smoothly without any upheaval or faff. The ceremony takes place in one of the three barns – The Pigs Palace, followed by drinks and canape on the grass or the patio where you can also drink in the far reaching views. But if the weather isn’t playing ball there is always the third barn, The Watering Shed that is already set up as a bar area.

Guests can then make their way into the large main barn for the Wedding Breakfast. It’s a vast area that also houses a large bar, a chill out area with comfy sofas, and plenty of space at the far end for a band to set up. It also leads into the kitchen area, that we can kit out according to your needs.

The barn is a blank canvas, which means you choose how you want to style it. Pretty much any style suits this space. We’ve catered for weddings where they’ve gone for long rows of trestles or rustic tables with sharing style informal menus, but also plenty where they’ve opted for round tables with white linen cloths, and a more formal three course fine dining menu.

And as your caterer, it’s not just the food we can provide. We can also order in tables, chairs, dance floor, fridges, catering equipment – everything you need so you don’t have to shop around for different suppliers. We can also put you in touch with other suppliers such as DJ, celebrant, stationer, travel agent, florist and bar company if you go for a cash bar.

With separate access for suppliers, everything goes on behind the scenes without any disruption to the guests. And with our catering premises being based just 5 minutes down the road, it’s just another reason why we love to cater there!

If you want to make the most of the surroundings and make a weekend of it, there is also the option to hire in bell tents in the adjoining field.

Montague Farm really is perfect – you’d be hard pushed to find anything to find fault with it.
