And yet another stunning venue to add to our collection. East Sussex is such a beautiful location to have our thriving business and we are very excited to now be preferred caterers for The Cherry Barn, situated in Beckley, between Peasmarch and Rye.
Clayton Farm is a 400-acre working sheep and fruit farm, situated in the High Weald area of outstanding natural beauty and offers stunning views out across the medieval town of Rye and the sea. The majority of the apples they grow goes to big brand Copella but some is kept for their own craft cider called ‘Starvecrow’.
Melanie and Stephen offer exclusive 48-hour hire periods at the Cherry Barn and can seat up to 150 guests comfortably. The Cherry Barn is licensed for weddings but for those wanting a religious ceremony, the Norman church of St Peter and St Paul in Peasmarsh is only a short stroll away. Their oak framed gazebo means they can also offer outdoor ceremonies.
This venue is one that has been purpose-built to make it everything a guest would want from a venue but it’s also the perfect set up for caterers too. And they’ve achieved all this and still kept it perfectly in keeping with the surroundings.
So if you are planning your wedding, a party, a corporate event or would like to hire this lovely Rye venue, then this is definitely worth a look. With Green Fig Catering Company working to create a spectacular menu for you, you really cannot go wrong.
