Peelings Manor Barn
Peelings Manor Barns is located in Hankham, just outside Eastbourne, between the South Downs and the Pevensey levels. It offers a charming, rustic, spacious, DIY venue. Suitable for events such as wedding receptions, birthday parties, anniversaries and other special celebrations. The traditional Sussex flint barn and barn yard are let out for events. They make the perfect blank canvas for your wedding reception or special celebration.
The manor of Peelings is mentioned in the Domesday Book. But there has been a settlement on the site since Anglo-Saxon times and probably long before that. Peelings Manor and farm buildings are Grade II listed, with the earliest surviving part of the manor house dating from the late 15th century, and the farm buildings from the 1850s.
