You just can’t beat a Hog Roast to get the party started, and even better when the sun comes out!
It was Laura’s 50th Birthday celebration and for once the British weather didn’t let us down. The guests milled around sipping chilled white wine before going into the marquee for Hog Roast with crackling, stuffing and bread baps.
Freshly made salads (Greek Salad, Potato Salad with celery, apple and mustard seed, Green Salad and a 5 Bean Salad with a garlic and chilli dressing)complimented the succulent meat perfectly followed by a yummy display of puds (Banoffee Pie, Chocolate Brownies and Eton Mess). It’s British fayre at it’s best. Simple but fabulous.
