Once the initial engagement celebrations are over, this can take some time…..and rightly so! There are then initial bookings that need to be made to secure the main events for your big day.
The church needs to be booked. These can get very booked up in advance so it is always a good idea to get this sorted- then you have a date to work around and book everything else. If it is a civil ceremony, obviously the main aspect you need to decide on is the venue you are going to be married in. Everything else can fit around that then.
If you are getting married next year, you possibly need to be looking for wedding caterers for 2015 already. Our dates are already getting booked up and, along with the church or wedding venue, then the catering, if you need it, needs to be sorted. Many hotels will provide the catering for you. However, many are just that – venues. This will mean you may need to source your caterers yourself and this can be a time consuming affair.

We will put you in touch with many of our recommended companies that complement the work we we do, ie cake makers, florists, live bands, marquees, wedding car hire etc etc. We love something a little unusual, we have even celebrated a wedding recently with a wedding cake made entirely of cheese! This was then cut up in the evening for the evening buffet – what a great idea and made it so easy!
