Mark and Vicky live in Hertfordshire but decided to have a small intimate wedding by the coast in Brighton.
Their group of 14 hired a fabulous property in Hove, and asked us to step in to provide them with a celebratory meal after they had tied the knot. They kicked things off in the best way, with drinks and canape, namely Bloody Mary shot, Satay Chicken Skewers, Onion Bhajees and Mini Cheeseburgers.
Then it was time for the main event. This was their private dining menu:
Pink loin of lamb salad served with a Thai dressing
Tomato, basil & mozzarella tower with a pesto dressing
Pan fried fillet steak with dauphinoise potatoes, tender stem broccoli and a creamy peppercorn sauce
Slow roasted pork belly served on root vegetable mash, served with buttered savoy cabbage and a white wine & thyme jus
Filo basket filled with a lightly spiced butternut squash and chick pea curry, served with aromatic pilau rice
Trio of Desserts:
~ Rich chocolate brownie, brandy snap basket with fresh exotic fruits, warm treacle sponge ~
Sticky toffee pudding with warm toffee sauce & vanilla ice cream
Coffee & Mints
Mark and Vicky and their guests really celebrated in style. Great house and fabulous food with their nearest and dearest. Any nobody had to lift a finger.
