21st Birthday Party – Tunbridge Wells – 22nd December 2017

After having catered for the daughter of the same family last year Jo got in touch with us again to ask if we’d do something similar for their son Harry’s coming-of-age party – the big 21.

Harry wanted to celebrate with his friends & family in style. Black tie – champagne and canapé, three course meal, music and dancing ’til the early hours (because they’re still young enough to do that)!

The champagne was certainly flowing – we could hardly get the bottles open quick enough! But after several bottles and some canapé to soak it up the guests took to their seats.

With a marquee on the back of the fantastic family home, and a great kitchen to work from we were only too pleased to serve Harry and his family and friends the menu they had carefully chosen, which included home-made ham and cheese Spanish style croquettes to start and wrapped chicken breast for main. The dessert was the old favourite sticky toffee pudding with warm toffee sauce and ice cream….naughty but delicious.

Harry and his friends were a real delight to cater for, but with it being our last job of the year we were happy to be on our way and leave the serious partying to the youngsters.

I’m sure it won’t be long before they think of another excuse to have a good old party!
