After the success of last year’s Private Dining, local business man Mark decided to book us again for this year’s work Christmas get together.

With just a small team of 9 it was the perfect solution. A bespoke evening in Mark’s home rather than going out and about to noisy bars and busy restaurants with the rest of the Christmas crowd.
Mark and his colleagues selected their choices before-hand, so everyone knew they were having something they really liked. With the kitchen and dining area being open plan, they could even see their food being created and cooked by John!
Private Dining is now a very popular solution for small groups wanting a more bespoke element to their evening. The food is cooked on site to your specification and you can take the evening at your pace, not the pace dictated to you by a restaurant.
And being able to provide your own drinks means you can push the boat out with bottles of fizz and beautiful wines without the price tag you pay in a restaurant. So, all in all it’s still cheaper than going out, and much more personal.
Mark and his friends, like last year started off with canapé and fizz, before taking their seats and enjoying a leisurely meal. This was their menu this time:

pink loin of lamb salad with a Thai dressing

with crushed new potatoes & red onion gravy

stuffed with sundried tomato & mozzarella with crushed new potatoes & roasted Mediterranean vegetables

Private Dining is very often booked for hen or stag do’s, but also sometimes for intimate family-only post-funeral gatherings – so it’s important to us to adapt to the circumstances. We always ask before-hand about the nature of the evening, level of formality required etc. so that we can get it right.
