Abigail & Jamie’s Gildredge Manor Wedding

Abi and Jamie got married at All Saints Church in Eastbourne and then held the rest of their big day at Gildredge Manor – a stunning wedding venue nestled on the edge of Gildredge Park.

First and foremost Abi and Jamie wanted to hold the reception at Gildredge Manor. They came to us firstly wanting a traditional sit down meal for their 80 day guests but realised that their budget simply wouldn’t stretch to this. Instead of being despondent and dropping the numbers they asked us what we could do within their budget so we went back to the drawing board and came up with a cunning plan.

The guests arrived at Gildredge Manor at 16:30pm and took their seats upstairs in the Long Gallery. This meant no arrival drinks and no canape, just straight into the meal – which obviously saved them a considerable amount of money.

Then, instead of a fully served meal, Abi and Jamie went for our Gold Finger Buffet. Still plenty of food to fill everyone up, all home-made on the day at our kitchens in Pevensey and definitely still hitting the spot.

With a band playing in the evening, and the Gildredge Manor bar in full swing everyone continued to enjoy themselves and the lovely Manor. Abi and Jamie and their friends supplied hundreds of cup cakes in the evening to help keep everyone topped up.

Abi and Jamie still had their dream wedding at their dream location, with all the people there that they wanted to share it with.
