Canape Party – Saturday 4th June 2016

Another canapé party – this time for a customer who used us last year for a private dining birthday celebration at their beautiful home in Bodiam.

This was a thank you to some of the other people that had been involved with the regeneration of Hastings Pier – and what better way to congratulate themselves on their hard work than canapé and champagne in a beautiful setting.

It was a glorious evening so guests were able to make use of the outside space while the delightful treats and top ups of champers were brought to them by our staff.

Having use of a lovely kitchen is always helpful, and being able to use an oven is a bonus as some canapé are much better warmed or cooked fresh at the time.

On the menu were the old favourites Mini Toad in the Hole….these go down a storm every time. Also on the menu were Sun-dried Tomato and Parmesan Arancini which are basically deep-fried risotto balls….totally yummy – and can be made with several different flavour combinations.

Guests also enjoyed Thai Crab Toasts, Mediterranean Vegetable Bruschetta, Chicken Satay Skewers, Smoked Salmon Blinis, Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella Kebabs, and King Prawn and Chorizo Skewers.

The guests were so pleasant and really enjoyed the evening, and it was a pleasure to cater again for such a nice couple. We left them thinking up another excuse to have a bit of a shindig and get us in again to cater for it….we can’t ask for any more than that!
