Jane booked Green Fig to help them celebrate her 60th birthday, so that she didn’t have the hassle of spending the evening in the kitchen.
With some 70 or so guests they wanted it to be informal with drinks and canape offered round by our staff, then later on a cheese board and dessert table for folks to help themselves to.
This is a great way to feed people fairly substantially but without having to seat everyone, which most people wouldn’t be able to do without adding a marquee or similar. So, it’s certainly cost-effective in that respect, as well as being a less formal, more relaxed option.
We have a canape menu as well as a drinks party food menu – perfect with a glass of something bubbly. Our cheeseboards are a feast for the eyes, and we can source any of the amazing cheeses produced right here in Sussex. The list is quite extensive. As for desserts, well it’s up to you how many you go for but you can’t go wrong with a Banoffee Pie (which originated from Sussex) or a Pavlova.
