A Happy New Year from Green Fig!

With all the massive build up through the month of December and indeed the tailend of November, Christmas seemed to go by so fast, totally in a blurred state of tiredness, too much food, drink and rubbish telly! Well that was us anyway!!

Photo 03-11-2015 17 44 28So now we wake up to a new year and some exciting possibilities. With the telephone already ringing and email enquiries coming in to Green Fig headquarters; 2017 is set to be as busy as 2016, if not busier!

We have many loyal customers who will contact us for many different occasions, including birthday parties, anniversary lunches as well as fine dining experiences.

We also have new customers who come and enquire, based on being recommended to us by some of our lovely existing customers; perhaps for a wedding reception or the sad event of  a funeral needing catering.

Sharing PlatterOur website enquiries come in thick and fast too – we put this down to the fact that we post lots of lovely photographs of our dishes, as well as being transparent on our pricing. Customers also love the fact that they can supply their own drink, without us charging corkage (which some other companies do). They can choose from a good range in price, ensuring everything is kept within their budgets, but knowing they will eat something wonderful on the day.

And then there is our corporate work; business lunches, large amounts of weekday catering, as well as some really exciting film crew buffets and special events such as Airbourne. We also love working with local charities for their fundraising lunches – these are exceptionally busy weeks with lots of waiting staff to be scheduled in, but great fun and real days to remember!

But totally at the heart of it all is our food. This is what we take most pride in and spend the most of our time creating. Our food is what makes us so popular and keeps our customers always coming back, which is a perfect testimonial for us as a company.
