Luckily for Lisa and Simon we managed to get their wedding in before everything changed….
Local couple Lisa and Simon chose Gildredge Manor for their wedding and opted for the Hot Fork Buffet Menu to feed their guests. It was a fairly small affair of just 30 guests, but with a large crowd in the evening.
The ceremony was held in the beautiful Garden Room, and after the service guests were greeted with a glass of fizz in the Ladies Morning Room. Gildredge Manor has various rooms that are open to the wedding party, including a beautiful garden in nicer weather.
Lisa and Simon already have two children (delightful ones at that) and a few more were on the guest list. Gildredge Manor’s stunning and bright dining room is upstairs and tucked away in the corner is a separate room that is perfect for when kids get a bit fed up as they can sit on beanbags and have their own space, but most importantly Mum and Dad know where they are and can enjoy their food and some adult conversation knowing the kids are having fun and safe.
Lisa and Simon chose dishes from our hot fork buffet menu to feed their guests, and as there was plenty of space in the dining room they went for the buffet table option, but if space is tight, or you prefer, this menu can also be served sharing style to the tables. This was their menu:
Spinach & Feta Cannelloni
Pulled Pork with BBQ Sauce
Lemon Chicken with Black Olives
New potatoes
Homemade Crunchy Pink Coleslaw
Tomato, Mozzarella & Red Onion Salad with a Balsamic Dressing
Home-made Breads, & Butter
~~~
Chocolate Fudge Cake
Eton Mess
Tea & Coffee
We’re so pleased we got to cater for Lisa and her lovely family before weddings were off the agenda and lockdown set in.
