There are lots of ways to create the perfect day without breaking the bank. By steering away from the typical hotel wedding packages you immediately afford yourself total freedom to build your day the way you want it, a blank canvas if you like, and usually this works out to be a cheaper option in the long run. A little more work maybe, but you are unique, and so should your wedding day be – and it’s definitely worth the effort!
So how much does a wedding cost? Well that’s a very important question…Venues vary hugely in cost. Putting a marquee in a field or large garden, or using the local village hall will usually be a cheaper option than a privately owned venue. Equipment will obviously be needed such as tables, chairs, cloths, napkins, crockery, cutlery and glassware. These can be hired individually or incorporated into most of our wedding packages. Some venues supply tables and chairs so you only have to hire in the things you actually need.
Couples are becoming much more inventive and creative when it comes to table decorations and dressing the room. We’ve seen giant pom-poms, hanging baskets, bunting, tea lights in jam jars, hay bales and blankets – all of which can look amazing. Sometimes it’s’ the simplest (and cheapest) things that become the real talking point of a wedding, especially if it’s just ‘sooo you’!
The menu is up to you. From sharing platters, finger and fork buffets to a four course meal – anything is possible. There’s always a menu to suit every budget and we can help you make this decision. Basically the higher the level of service, the higher the cost. So if you’re on a budget why not go for a finger or fork buffet, that requires much less staffing than a served meal.
