Green Fig Catering Company is a family-run outside caterers established by partners John & Jo Crittenden, committed to providing real food throughout East Sussex. We are a team of talented professionals who are all extremely passionate about food! being outside caterers in East Sussex means we can be really versatile and fit into many different types of venue.

Who are we?

As we mentioned, Green Fig Catering is a small family-run outside caterer. We like to bring all our staff and customers into the Green Fig family. The team here are all major foodies who focus on simple but delicious flavours and attention to detail. Doing everything in a friendly and approachable manner is what’s key to us.

We really love being a smaller business as it gives us the opportunity to offer a much more personal service to our customers. So, if you’re a little unsure in terms of what sort of food you want to be featured at your event then you’re in luck. Showing off our diverse knowledge and helping you figure out exactly what you want is what we do best. Besides preparing the food of course.

Striving to improve is a quality we always try to display here at Green Fig. Little things, that only one or two people might notice, are more often than not what makes a great deal of difference. The details really do matter. Going the extra mile is something we believe in wholeheartedly, during every step of the process.

Outside Caterers

Outside caterers are not caterers who only operate outdoors, though we do offer this service if it suits your event. We specialise in bringing food to an event that either doesn’t have a team of in-house caterers. For example, we do lots of work in village hall events, marquees or wedding venues that don’t have their own team.

What we do

Our general rule is that we will take on any job if we know we can do it well; even better if we can blow expectations. We don’t like under delivering or offering empty promises to our customers. As a small business, we rely on word of mouth to get our name out there; so your overall experience is paramount to us. We can cater for nearly any size event, whether it be five or five hundred people.

No matter what the occasion, we treat every event with the same level of care and attention. You might want somebody to man the barbeque at a family gathering or you may be looking to keep your guests happy at a wedding reception. We guarantee the same high-quality food, accompanied by friendly, hassle-free service. Not only this but we’re sure to only take on one large event at a time. It’s your day and we will guarantee you our undivided attention.

We work throughout East Sussex, including Hailsham, Eastbourne, Bexhill, Battle and Hastings, we also cover Tunbridge Wells in Kent as well as working a lot in Brighton. We are happy as long as you really enjoy the taste of our food…
