Well, 2021 turned out to be nearly as strange a year as 2020, but at least we were getting a bit used to the lockdowns and the uncertainty being par for the course by then.
But for all the weddings that had postponed three, sometimes four times already, it left couples with tough decisions yet again.
Thankfully from May the smaller weddings were permitted, and some of our couples just wanted to go ahead with whatever was permitted, so that they could finally have their day, albeit smaller than initially planned.
So, from then onwards it was all go. The team were gradually bought back off of furlough and before we knew it, we were not only back into the swing of wedding season, but charging our way through over nearly 40 weddings and events in 6 months! Some weeks we catered for 3 weddings and, testament to the team, we did each one with the usual passion and high standards, and made every couples’ day extra special.
A huge thank you to all these lovely couples who took the plunge in 2021 with their weddings, despite the shenanigans of Covid, lockdowns and isolations! You helped us get back to business after such a stressful time.

Wedding menus included everything from bbq’s, tapas, picnic hampers and curry buffets. And we were back at all of our regular venues as well as some exciting new ones too. We’ve also picked up stacks of amazing testimonials on Google and Facebook along the way – which of course makes it all worth it every time. Here’s just a few of them that were emailed direct:

Roll on 2022! It will be another busy year for us but thankfully with the weddings and events a bit more evenly spaced out.
