Ahh… the lovely Jenn and Jon! I know we shouldn’t have favourites – but they have been ours! We first met them at the Wedding Fair in 2014, and we always knew they’d have a great day…and they did.
Alfriston Village Hall
After getting married in Old Town in Eastbourne, the wedding party arrived at the beautiful War Memorial Hall in the pretty village of Alfriston.
The hall looked really pretty with simple but elegant decoration. This is one of our favourite Village Halls, and the large grassy area outside is perfect for guests to mill around on while our staff serve champagne and canapes.
The couple had been really excited about their menu choice – the picnic hamper – filled with all of their favourite home-made goodies, including quiche, sausage rolls and salads. The meal finished with an elegant trio of mini desserts comprising Clementine Cake, Strawberry Tarts and of course, Chocolate Brownies. The hampers went down a storm – as they always do, – and everyone had a really good tuck in.

Jenn had thought of everything and placed baskets of ‘essentials’ in each of the bathrooms! 😉
In the evening they went for bacon butties and hot dogs on the lawn – which also hit the spot with the guests.
Most importantly Jenn and Jon had the magical day they had dreamed of and we’re so thrilled for them.
