Wedding – Marie & James – Saturday 1st July 2017

Yep…back at the wonderful Gildredge Manor in Eastbourne again!

Table Decorations

Marie and James held their ceremony in the Garden Room at Gildredge Manor – fully licensed with a view of the pretty surroundings on the edge of the park.

After the ceremony the guests were greeted in the garden with drinks and canapé. Pimms & Lemonade and also a pink lemonade were served from traditional Kilner jars – really popular now.

Canape consisted of Cherry Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Kebabs, Mini Toad in the Hole, Chicken Satay Skewers, King Prawn & Chorizo Skewers, Goats Cheese & Olive Toasts and Pastrami & Wholegrain Mustard Rye Breads.

The guests moved upstairs to the long gallery for dining, and started off with a Brie & Cranberry Tart, followed by oven baked Chicken in a Cream Sauce topped with Wild Mushrooms, Parma Ham & Mozzarella, served with herby Potatoes and Mediterranean Vegetables.

The couple had specifically asked for this dish as it is their favourite meal at their favourite restaurant, and we were only too happy to oblige.

For dessert Marie and James went for the ever-popular trio consisting of miniature portions of Summer Berry Pavlova, Banoffee Pie, and Chocolate Brownie.

With music provided by a great local band called LARGE – one of whom is a very old friend of ours, everyone was enjoying some classic 90’s dance anthems and working up an appetite for the evening food!

Breaking off to grab a sausage or a bacon buttie and a bit of wedding cake the guests soon found their way back to the dance floor where it was all happening. With James being a firefighter the cake had a figure of a fireman standing proudly on the top with his beautiful bride.

We wish Marie and James all the very best!
