Terry and Joanne chose the Old Chapel Centre in Alfriston, a small but beautiful venue in the heart of the village.
They held the ceremony in the chapel itself followed by drinks outside in the garden. From the off they wanted a really relaxed and low-key affair.
The Wedding Breakfast was a cold fork buffet, served on platters to the middle of the tables rather than from a buffet table.
On the menu was: Dressed Side of Salmon, Roasted Meat Platter, Homemade Quiche, Crunchy Pink Coleslaw, House Salad & Waldorf Salad followed by: Zesty Lemon Pots, Chocolate Brownies &Summer Berry Pavlova.
They were a great bunch, really laid-back and clean plates all round. There’s a lot to be said for keeping it simple with good honest food that everyone can tuck into family style.
